- The Indian partnership Act, 1932
- The Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960
- The Parsi Marriage & Divorce Act,1936
District Registrar also acts as Deputy Commissioner of Stamps under Karnataka stamp act,1957. (The District Registrar is assisted by the Head Quarters Assistant (HQA) in the administration of the department at the district level. HQA also works as Inspector of Registration & stamps under Registration Act, 1908 and Karnataka Stamp act,1957. HQA is delegated with the power of Deputy Commissioner under certain provisions of Karnataka Stamp Act ,1957) District Registrar is appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Stamps for detection of undervaluation of property under section 45 A of Karnataka Stamp Act,1957

Encumbrance certificate Registration of Marriages under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 & Hindu Marriage Act,1955. In District Registrar Office :Registration of partnership firm under The Indian partnership Act, 1932 Registration of Societies under The Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 Certified copy from Registers of Society/Firm. Deposit / Opening of Wills under Registration Act ,1908 Refund of stamps, Adjudication of documents under Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957 & also of documents executed out of India .Registration of Parsi Marriages .
